Helen and Zaid had a beautiful Autumnal themed day with plenty of creative and personal touches.
Wooden crates filled with lanterns and tea lights were placed either side of the aisle.
Autumn leaves were scattered down the aisle.
At the back of the room where the couple said their vows, was a metal archway that the Bride had draped with Ivy and a stunning twinkle backdrop provided by our Venue Dresser, Absolute Weddings.
After the ceremony staff were waiting with Peach Bellini’s for the guests.
This was a lovely alternative to the usual Bucks Fizz.
Photos were then taken in the garden where their photographer, Karen Smallwood got a brilliant heart shaped photo of all the guests.
The mixture of deep purples, reds and yellows used for the Wedding Breakfast really complemented each other. The centre pieces were created by the Bride herself- Jars and tea lights placed on hessian material with leaves and crystals scattered around. The place cards were placed In gold sprayed pine cones and the favours were chocolates in coloured organza bags. The Wedding cake also incorporated the Autumn theme with red and gold falling leaves and two squirrels placed on the top. The table plan created by the Bride looked really effective on a gold frame with lights wrapped around. The couple upgraded their Wedding Breakfast to a choice menu where guests pre ordered.
Chicken Liver pate, chutney and brioche
Seasonal melon with pineapple and strawberry salsa
Herb crusted fillet of salmon with butter bean and vegetable ragu
Honey glazed pork loin with apple compote and cider gravy
Roast chicken breast with champ mash, button mushrooms and tarragon jus #
Baked vanilla cheesecake with seasonal berry compote
Citrus tart with plain crème fraiche
Sticky toffee pudding with butterscotch sauce
Helen and Zaid’s evening reception was in the William Duesbury Suite. They used our resident DJ MC Productions and upgraded to include the uplighters. They had booked Ace Party for a Casino which went down well with guests on the night!
It was a beautiful day and it was lovely to see all of Helen and Zaids creations come together.
We wish them both a lifetime of happiness and hope to welcome them back to the hotel soon!
